What is a Color Palette Generator?
Establishing brand identity or building a UI/UX wireframe requires an aesthetic bedrock. The Color Palette Generator calculates mathematical relationships across the standard 360-degree color wheel, outputting 5 strictly harmonious colors based on a single core tone.
Understanding Harmony Modes
- Analogous: Selects hues directly adjacent to each other on the color wheel. Best for serene, natural, and highly unified designs.
- Monochromatic: Takes one hue and modifies only its Lightness and Saturation. Creates deep, structured, and inherently safe gradients.
- Complementary: Identifies colors perfectly opposite each other on the color wheel (e.g., Orange and Blue) to create maximum pop and stark contrast.
- Triadic: Evenly spaces 3 identical wedges across the 360-degree wheel. Highly vibrant but requires careful balancing when applied to UIs.
How to easily extract colors
The interface is fully interactive. Simply hover over any generated swatch strip to view the precise HEX code string. Click directly on the color block, and the script will quietly inject the code directly onto your machine's clipboard, letting you paste it instantly into Photoshop, Figma, or your CSS files.
